PORTABLE VENTILATOR AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING OSCILLATORY FLOW

Taiwan
Partnership wanted
Introduction
Patients who rely on respirators for treatment and life support currently account for a very high proportion of medical expenses. Current respirators can be mainly divided into traditional respirators and high-frequency respirators. Many studies have proven that the use of high-frequency respirators can help reduce lung damage to patients when using them. However, due to the inability to master the operating parameters of high-frequency respirators, clinical practice relies on multiple attempts and parameter adjustments to find the appropriate settings. In addition, clinical use does not have good advantages compared with traditional respirators, resulting in reduced clinical use. This project designs a high-frequency respirator, attempts to find appropriate parameters, and uses advanced electronic circuits and mechanical integration technology to develop a portable high-frequency respirator to meet different medical and patient needs.
Features / strengths
1. Portable/reduced size: increased user freedom and more efficient allocation of medical resources.
2. High-frequency inhalation: The maximum pressure in the lungs decreases and the risk of lung mutation is reduced.
3. Dual-mode control: two-dimensional adjustment (driving pressure and output flow), with a more flexible adjustment range according to different needs.
4. Semi-active exhalation tube: Increase ventilation efficiency.
