Bacteria Real-Time Electrical Measurement Chip Systems with Molecular Imprinting Layers

Taiwan
Partnership wanted
Introduction
This product uses a plastic microfluidic chip combined with artificial antibody-specific grasping and a micro-porous silicon chip to continuously detect the bacteria passing through one by one in real time. The electrical changes monitor the differences in individual properties of bacteria, such as drug resistance or surface attachment molecules or three-dimensional geometric structures, or identify different bacteria, such as Escherichia coli or Bacillus subtilis.
Features / strengths
The innovative design in this case is to use molecularly imprinted polymer for capturing bacterial in sample quickly and in a small amount, and newly design with the tunnel electrodes on the solid-state silicon micropore for electrical measurement of single bacteria. It can measure the electrical signals of translocation and tunneling of Escherichia coli at the same time, and convert the electrical parameters of each bacterium in real time.
