1. Fast and efficient lysis
-This reagent combines chemical and enzymatic methods to extract nucleic acids. During the chemical process, the lipid bilayer is first destroyed, and enzymes digest membrane proteins at the same time, thereby improving extraction efficiency.
2. Optimize DNA/RNA recovery rate (Maximize DNA/RNA Recovery)
- The buffer contains special enzymes that digest DNase, RNase and antibody proteins immediately upon cell lysis to prevent DNA and RNA degradation.
3. Suitable for solid and liquid samples (Lyse Liquid or Solid Samples)
-1X concentration is ideal for solid samples such as swabs, cell pellets, and membrane filters
-10X concentration is more suitable for liquid samples such as water, biological fluids or transport media
4. Simple extraction process (Simple Protocol, Direct PCR)
- Most samples do not require heating, centrifugation, or physical disruption of cells. Simply react the lysis buffer with cells for 15 minutes at room temperature, then boil at 98°C for 5 minutes to inactivate the enzyme and complete nucleic acid extraction.
5. After the extraction is completed, DNA and RNA can be effectively stored at room temperature for about 72 hours; if long-term storage is required, DNA must be stored at -20 ℃ and RNA must be stored at -70 ℃.
