Dual Humanized Mice

Hong Kong
Introduction
Many pathogenesis of human liver diseases involve both human liver and
liver-resident immune system, such as hepatitis B, C viral infection, Non-
Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis. At Invivocue, we understand
the need for a more robust rodent model with double humanization
possessing stably engrafted human immune system and hepatocytes for
preclinical research in animals.

In this model, human CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells and primary human
hepatocytes were transplanted consecutively into an immunodeficient FAH
knock-out mice with NOD-Scid IL2rg-/- background. After 18-20 weeks of
reconstitution, dual humanized mice are found to possess high levels of
human liver repopulation and hCD45+ lymphocytes.
Features / strengths
•Allows hepatitis viral infection, liver disease modelling & drug efficacy testing
•Reconstitution of hCD45+ cell lineages and human hepatocytes repopulation
•100 mice can be generated from single batch of CD34+ HSC and hepatocytes
•HLA and gender selection are allowed to match the study requirements
•No additional charge for use in profitable research and services
