The LabRobot Dilucup System is a semi-automated serial dilution workflow for microbiology laboratories. It combines Dilucup Elegance ready-to-use sterile dilution cups with either the Dilugent Shaker or Dilushaker III. Each Dilucup is pre-filled with 9 mL of sterile diluent, helping laboratories replace traditional dilution tubes and vortex mixers while standardizing 1:10, 1:100, 1:1000, and further decimal serial dilutions. The system is suitable for pharmaceutical QC, hospital microbiology laboratories, testing centers, research laboratories, and food or biotechnology microbiology workflows. It supports sample preparation for microbial enumeration, microbiological limit testing, environmental microbiology monitoring, and routine serial dilution procedures. The workflow is simple: place the Dilucup blister on the shaker, open the required number of cups, add 1 mL of sample, start shaking, and then transfer 1 mL to the next cup using a new sterile pipette tip until the target dilution is reached.
