Inventec’s medical business division has reached another milestone, with its subsidiary, InnoVita, officially launching the SmartMed Infusion System at Lo-Tung Pohai Hospital. This makes Lo-Tung Pohai Hospital the first healthcare institution in Eastern Taiwan to fully adopt a smart infusion connection system. The management believes this move will enhance clinical care quality, ensure patient safety, reduce the workload of nursing staff, and drive the transformation towards smart healthcare.

Ivan Tseng, Vice President of InnoVita’s medical business, stated that the SmartMed Infusion System includes several types of infusion pumps that cater to different usage needs, enabling precise infusion of fluids, blood, and medications. All products are developed and manufactured locally in Taiwan. InnoVita plans to continue expanding its infusion product lineup, including injection pumps and feeding pumps, to further完善 its hardware product line, and will integrate all information on a single platform to contribute more to the development of smart healthcare in Taiwan.

Wang Wen-Been, Director of Lo-Tung Pohai Hospital, pointed out that since the hospital’s establishment in 1953, it has been dedicated to creating a smart healthcare environment. The introduction of InnoVita’s SmartMed Infusion System allows for automatic downloading of medical orders, real-time monitoring of infusion status, and automatic transmission of infusion records, providing safer and more efficient care for patients, while laying a solid foundation for the hospital’s smart development.

After observing the system’s implementation, the hospital administration noted that InnoVita’s team demonstrated exceptional integration skills in both hardware and software, and their ability to adapt the system to meet the hospital’s clinical needs. Wang Wen-Been emphasized, "In the future, we will continue to collaborate closely with InnoVita to explore more smart healthcare applications, continuously improve the quality of medical care, and provide better healthcare services for our patients."
