Acepodia will hold an investor conference on the 12th to share the latest advancements in regenerative medicine drug development.
Over the past seven years, Yang has guided Acepodia from a startup to a clinical-stage leader in the allogeneic cell therapy field. Reflecting on his tenure, Yang stated, “This marks an important turning point for Acepodia. I am confident in Dr. Hsiao’s leadership and technical expertise to continue driving the company’s innovation and growth.” Following his retirement, Yang will retain his roles as co-founder and advisor to ensure a smooth transition and support the company’s long-term development.
As a co-founder of Acepodia, Hsiao has served as CEO since 2017, successfully advancing the company’s antibody-cell conjugation technology platform and the research, manufacturing, and clinical development of allogeneic cell therapies. He expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by Dr. Yang and the board, stating, “I look forward to working with the team to achieve breakthroughs across research, manufacturing, clinical development, and commercialization, aiming to deliver innovative therapies to patients.”
Additionally, the extraordinary general meeting will discuss the election of a new board member, with Carolyn Bertozzi nominated for the position. Renowned for her achievements in biochemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry, Bertozzi will bring robust technical and strategic support to Acepodia.
