After obtaining the drug approval for its EnVAX-A71 vaccine, Enimmune Corp., a subsidiary of Adimmune Corp., has been approached by a number of international manufacturers for the vaccine to enter ASEAN countries through clinical trials, while the parent company has benefited from the export of influenza vaccines to Eastern Europe and the second automated aseptic filling and packaging line has been certified by the European Union.
Enimmune's General Manager, Mr. Vic Chang, said that after obtaining the drug approval of nVAX-A71 in Taiwan, they have received a number of international companies that have actively expressed their desire to cooperate and expand overseas markets.
As Enimmune's enterovirus vaccine has already obtained Halal certification, it will have an advantage in entering the ASEAN market, targeting the Asian infant market of over 20 million doses a year.
The Enterovirus 71 vaccine is based on the B4 subgenotype strain prevalent in Taiwan, and is combined with Adimmune's next-generation, high-capacity cell culture bioreactor process, which will provide protection for Taiwanese children against enterovirus threats.
Adimmune's Eastern European partners have continued to deepen their cooperation this year, with orders for influenza vaccine doubling this year compared to last year.
This is mainly due to the fact that the second automated aseptic filling and packaging line of Guoguang has been certified by the European Union, which has enabled the production line to effectively expand its capacity this year and will be a favourable factor for international OEM cooperation.
In these uncertain times, Mr. Chi-Hsien Chan, CEO of Adimmune, emphasised that in the past two years, the company's operations have met the target and this year, it will continue to deepen its international cooperation and upgrade its technology platform, and under the premise of ensuring Taiwan's epidemic prevention is safe, the company will grow steadily and make great strides towards internationalisation.
