Intraoperative Vrain Surgery Navigation System Based on Needle Type OCT Technology

Taiwan
Partnership wanted
Introduction
This product is an intraoperative navigation technology assisted brain surgery. Based on needle type OCT, high spatial resolution and real-time imaging technology is applied to visualize deep brain nucleus. This OCT probe is compatible with the equipment used in the usual stereotaxic procedure, without changing the surgeon's operation habits and instruments. Circular high-resolution tomographic images are provided through this scanning probe with an outer diameter of only 0.6mm during the stereotaxic procedure. Paired with tissue identification software developed based on AI models, it can assist neurologists in identifying tissue types surrounding the probe to improve positioning accuracy.
Features / strengths
1. The thinnest intracranial rotating OCT probe, with a diameter of only 0.63 mm, reduces brain tissue damage.
2. The inner steel tube is rotated and the outer steel tube is fixed to avoid inflammation caused by tissue friction.
3. Using the remote mechanical drive mechanism, with torque coil and flexible optical fiber, to reduce the risk of using electrical components.
4. Patented positioning geometry to ensure that images can be alignment and reconstructed.
5. Compatible with the existing brain stereotaxic system, without changing the doctor's habits.
-
Applications and Benefits:
1. Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery
2. Extracorporeal Ventricular Drainage Surgery
3. Brain Biopsy Surgery
4. Pulmonology / Gastroenterology
