DEFEHERE Absorbable Adhesion Barrier is a colorless, transparent, viscous, sterile and nonpyrogenic gel supplied in a glass syringe for single-use only. The composition is based on hyaluronic acid derived from microbial fermentation. This product is a hyaluronic acid gel with viscosity and flexibility formed through auto-crosslinked technology. The product perfectly attaches to the tissue surface, creating an anti-adhesion layer which avoids post-surgical adhesion.

‧Mechanism
Hyaluronic acid is a key component of human connective tissue, including epithelial and mesothelial tissues. A hyaluronic acid gel, characterized by viscosity and flexibility, can adhere to the applied tissue surface, forming a barrier to prevent tissue adhesion and reduce post-surgical adhesions between tissues.

The product is indicated to prevent or reduce adhesions or fibrosis following tendon and/or peripheral nerve surgery and/or surgical release of joint contractures.
