Introduction
Synovial Fluid Supplement also known as Intra-articular Injection is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, high-quality Hyaluronic Acid extracted from the fermentation of bacterial which is a natural substance present in the joint cavity acting as a lubrication. It allows smooth movement of the cartilage covered articulate surfaces of the joint. Besides lubricating the joints, hyaluronic acid can also absorb shocks and promotes elasticity of the knees.
Synovial Fluid Supplement is indicated for the treatment of pain from osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to non-pharmacologic therapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or simple analgesics, e.g., acetaminophen.
