Introduction
UnicoCell’s exosome-rich stem cell secretome is manufactured using 3D processing technology. The related technology has been granted an invention patent in Taiwan and was honored with the Bronze Award in Manufacturing Technology at the 2024 National Pharmaceutical Technology & Research Development Award (NPRDA). In addition, the product has been registered in the U.S. FDA Master File (MF) and certified with an International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient (INCI) name, demonstrating compliance with international quality and regulatory standards. Compared to traditional flat-plate cultivation, this method enhances the concentration of stem cell-secreted factors by approximately 2 to 8 times and high concentration of exosomes. Based on empirical results, UC Secretome promotes wound healing, collagen production, and inhibits melanin production. Its safety has been validated through extensive tests, confirming its non-irritating, non-phototoxic, and non-genotoxic nature, and it's free from heavy metals.

Currently, UC Secretome has successfully penetrated the Japanese market, with its powdered form serving as an ingredient for cosmetics like serums, and its vials being exclusive for aesthetic clinics. Additionally, UnicoCell collaborates with Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital to explore UC Secretome's therapeutic application in retinal degenerative diseases. Given the innovative potential of this research and the vast market demand, it has garnered support from the Ministry of Science and Technology's Forward-looking Industry-Academia Collaboration Project.
