Chlitina Initiates AI Transformation; Targets Return to Double-Digit Growth in Revenue and ProfitDec 30, 2025

Chlitina-KY (麗豐) Chairwoman Chen Bi-hua stated on the 29th that the company "cannot afford to miss the AI era," asserting that failure to invest in AI now would render future corporate value zero. The group has begun integrating AI into customer service, store management, and R&D. For 2026, Chlitina plans to expand AI applications and launch new "concept demo stores," aiming to propel revenue and profit back to double-digit growth.

Chairwoman Chen noted that while Chlitina capitalized on market dividends in China starting in 1997, its deep roots in offline operations meant it missed the full surge of the internet era. To rectify this, the company is upgrading its digital core, deploying AI agents, and equipping all 4,000+ stores with AI skin diagnostic systems. These tools enable precise skin analysis and real-time data synchronization with customer mobile apps to boost repurchase rates.

Market Outlook and Strategy:

  • Industry Consolidation: CFO Yeh Chien-chih observed that the 2025 Chinese beauty market saw a massive shake-up, with a 40% closure rate (1.8 million stores). Chlitina’s store count decreased by 10% to approximately 4,000, but these remaining locations are mature. The goal for 2026 is to add 500 new high-quality stores.
  • New Store Models: For 2026, the company will pilot smaller boutique stores (50–80 sqm down from 200 sqm) with lower franchise fees (RMB 300k–500k), targeting younger "petite bourgeoisie" and male demographics.
  • Brand Positioning: The company has officially signed global celebrity Liu Shishi as its brand ambassador to reinforce its high-end, professional international image.
