Lotus Pharmaceutical’s Asian Business Grows 16% in First Eight Months, Expects Double-Digit Growth for Hematologic Cancer Drugs This YearSep 11, 2025

Lotus Pharmaceutical reported August revenue of NT$1.16 billion, down 12% year-on-year, while cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached NT$13.034 billion, remaining largely flat compared to the same period last year. Notably, its Asian operations saw a year-on-year revenue increase of 16%, driven by the successful integration of Teva’s business in Thailand and the smooth acquisition of Alpha Choay in Vietnam, resulting in Southeast Asian revenue growth of 206% over the same period.

Lotus Pharmaceutical noted that Teva’s Thailand operations have contributed to revenue since August 2024. Revenue in Thailand for August 2025 still increased compared to the previous year, highlighting both the successful integration and Lotus’s capability to further expand operations in the Thai market.

Meanwhile, export markets declined 14% year-on-year, primarily due to the peak sales of the hematologic cancer drug Lenalidomide shifting to the fourth quarter of 2025, and a decrease in revenue from the opioid dependence treatment Suboxone due to market competition. The company expects its hematologic cancer drugs to achieve double-digit growth in U.S. dollar terms for the full year of 2025.
