SciVision Biotech Expands into Russia, Reports Strong ProgressSep 12, 2025

SciVision Biotech has announced another major milestone in its overseas expansion. The company’s aesthetic medicine product line, Hyalush—a series of hyaluronic acid subcutaneous fillers for facial and body contouring, including 1ml, 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml single-use formulations—has obtained a sales license in Russia. Hyalush, comprising 18 different formulations, is the first domestically produced subcutaneous filler to receive approval in Russia and is expected to begin contributing to revenue as early as Q4 this year.

SciVision notes that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia, has a combined population of 185 million. Driven in part by the influence of Western and European media and celebrities, aesthetic medicine is becoming increasingly popular, representing a significant market opportunity.

Hyalush includes sister brands Hydermis and Fasly, with Hydermis having been sold in Taiwan for 15 years and Fasly in China for nearly a decade, both enjoying stable physician and consumer bases. The Russian distributor for Hyalush is part of the same group that handles SciVision’s joint cavity injection products, which currently hold nearly a 70% market share in Russia. The distributor is highly confident in replicating its successful marketing experience from the joint cavity injection business to Russia’s aesthetic medicine market.

In addition to facial applications of hyaluronic acid, SciVision plans to expand into body sculpting, targeting new growth opportunities in the Russian aesthetic medicine sector.
