BestShape VS represents one of Wistron Medical’s long-term strategic product lines in AI-driven contactless healthcare. Utilizing millimeter-wave radar technology, AIoT, and machine learning with deep learning algorithms, this system continuously monitors and analyzes physiological parameters such as respiration, heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep quality, without disrupting patients’ daily activities. This real-time data assists clinicians in making precise diagnoses.
In the neonatal care sector, Wistron Medical has been collaborating with MA CHÈRIE, a leading postpartum care center, since 2018. The integration of BestShape VS into newborn care has enabled AI-assisted monitoring of infants’ physiological data. During the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple outbreaks of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), the AI-driven system, combined with professional nursing care, played a crucial role in preventing postpartum centers from becoming infection hotspots while allowing early detection of potential health issues in newborns. To date, over 8,500 infants have benefited from this technology.
Building on this success, MA CHÈRIE has further introduced BestShape Care into maternity rooms. This AI-powered contactless monitoring system enhances safety for postpartum mothers through a high-privacy, image-free non-contact detection technology, ensuring a secure and comfortable stay.
Wistron Medical is advancing its presence in the smart healthcare market through three key business strategies: integrated hardware-software solutions, contract manufacturing, and its proprietary brand. With medical contract manufacturing accounting for over 50% of its business, the company continues to see stable demand, particularly in molecular diagnostics and non-invasive medical devices. Meanwhile, the adoption of AI-driven smart hospital and healthcare platform solutions is accelerating, fueled by advancements in AI applications and increasing software maturity, positioning Wistron Medical for further expansion in the field.
