Taiwanese digital health technology company Health2Sync announced on the 5th that it has successfully completed its Series C funding round, raising over $20 million. The funds will be used to expand global market reach, advance digital disease management initiatives, and prepare for a future IPO in Taiwan.
The funding round was led by Taiwania Capital Biotechnology III Corporation and supported by prominent investors such as Wistron, Pegatron, ABIES Capital, and Cathay Venture. This strong backing reflects the market’s confidence in Health2Sync’s digital health strategy.
Health2Sync Co-founder and CEO Ed Deng stated that the funds will drive key initiatives, including the development of more innovative and personalized digital disease management solutions. These include digital weight management programs, hypertension and pre-chronic disease management solutions, and the digital integration of GLP-1 medications to improve treatment accessibility for patients with diabetes and metabolic disorders.
Beyond product development, Health2Sync is actively expanding into international markets, particularly Japan, South Korea, and Australia, where public healthcare systems are accelerating the adoption of digital health solutions. Leveraging its regulatory approvals, Health2Sync plans to introduce its insulin dose adjustment software, Insultrate, to markets outside Taiwan, further enhancing precision in diabetes treatment.
The company is also deepening its application of artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize interactions between patients and healthcare providers, improving efficiency in chronic disease management. Taiwania Capital’s biotech fund Managing Partner Rex Huang highlighted that digital disease management has become a critical focus in global public healthcare, and Health2Sync’s technology and products will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of chronic disease care.
As the global digital health market continues to expand rapidly, this funding not only strengthens Health2Sync’s presence in Asia but also solidifies its position as a leader in digital healthcare, laying a strong foundation for its future IPO and international market expansion.
