Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii), a subsidiary of FOXCONN, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, 富聯裕康醫療科技 (深圳), plans to acquire Guangzhou Aquila Precise Tools in a deal valued at no more than HK$439 million (approximately NT$1.85 billion). The acquisition will be carried out in stages, further accelerating its expansion into the high-end medical device industry.
富聯裕康醫療科技 is a wholly owned subsidiary of Foxconn Industrial Internet, established in 2023 in Shenzhen. The company is dedicated to becoming a world-class CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) for medical devices. Backed by Fii’s strong manufacturing technologies, talent pool, and financial resources, 富聯裕康醫療科技 is pursuing rapid growth through a combination of independent development and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Its business focuses on professional healthcare and consumer medical sectors, particularly in the high-end medical device market.
Guangzhou Aquila is a medical device manufacturer with over 30 years of industry experience. It has core technologies and comprehensive processing capabilities in metal materials manufacturing. Its product range includes more than 5,000 types of medical devices, covering over 100 types of medical-grade materials. Guangzhou Aquila has been certified as a qualified supplier of finished products by major U.S. orthopedic brands, has secured mass production orders, and has become part of the supply chains of the world’s top five orthopedic companies.
Foxconn Industrial Internet stated that upon completion of the acquisition, 富聯裕康醫療科技 will fully integrate Guangzhou Aquila’s technologies and resources to establish a comprehensive innovation system from materials research and development to finished product delivery. This integration will further strengthen its smart manufacturing capabilities in the high-end medical device field, enabling it to provide global clients with higher-quality products and more responsive solutions. The acquisition lays a solid foundation for 富聯裕康醫療科技 to become a world-leading high-end medical device manufacturer.
