BIONET Forms Strategic Alliances to Accelerate Exosome Expansion into Overseas MarketsDec 24, 2024

BIONET, combining the strengths of its subsidiaries Genetics Generation Advancement (BIONET Genetics) and BIONET Therapeutics, is leveraging its proprietary AI system to analyze miRNA expression for exosome function research. The company is applying these findings to develop solutions for various indications and skincare needs, identifying the optimal exosome combinations through "AI-driven exosomes." By forming strategic alliances with medical transport platforms, aesthetic medicine, skincare product development, and medical aesthetic device companies, BIONET is accelerating its entry into the regenerative medicine field. Through its "Exosome Foundry" business model (a global exosome R&D contract manufacturing center), the company is actively expanding into overseas markets, including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan.

BIONET, together with its advanced research team at BIONET Genetics and its soon-to-be-listed subsidiary, BIONET Therapeutics, has integrated exosome technology and AI research capabilities to launch the "Exosome Foundry" business model. This model enhances the efficacy and reliability of exosome applications, and to date, it spans 13 sectors, including Western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, and veterinary medicine.

The company stated that exosome applications include areas such as Exosome x AI, phototherapy skincare, microneedle RF treatments, cosmetic product development, medical aesthetic devices, Chinese medicine-based beauty, and obstetrics and gynecology. Notably, BIONET is collaborating with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to enter the regenerative medicine field for the first time. For example, it has partnered with Han Yi Tang, a prominent TCM clinic chain, to apply its technology to skin and hair health management.

Additionally, Taiwan's regulatory framework, including the Special Regulations and Dual Acts for Regenerative Medicine, has facilitated the development of the exosome-based regenerative medicine industry. Dr. Audrey, a member of a Malaysian medical delegation, shared insights on the extended applications of exosomes exported by BIONET from Taiwan in regenerative medicine.

BIONET highlighted that exosomes regulate cellular functions, providing benefits such as enhanced metabolism, microvascular regeneration (delivering nutrients to extremities), reduced inflammation and pain, and diminished oxidative stress and free radicals. In Malaysia, exosome applications are popular not only for wound healing but also for hair restoration and facial aesthetics in combination with microneedles.

Recently, BIONET's advanced research team has conducted extensive cross-disciplinary and international studies using cutting-edge technologies such as AI prediction models, molecular dynamics simulations, and functional peptide efficacy calculations. These breakthroughs have addressed critical challenges in gene regulation, with three studies published in Nature sub-journals, the world’s leading academic publications.
