Wiltrom is the only publicly listed manufacturer of spinal medical devices in Taiwan, committed to developing high-end implantable medical devices. It has successfully marketed innovative medical devices developed in Taiwan in the international market. The company's self-developed innovative vertebral expander, Tripod-Fix, has been sold to Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Vietnam since 2023. In March 2024, it further strengthened its strategic cooperation with TECRES SPA, a major bone cement manufacturer in Italy, to rapidly expand its distribution channels in six European countries, including Spain, Switzerland, Poland, and Greece, leveraging TECRES SPA's existing European network. This collaboration will help Wiltrom establish a stronger presence for Tripod-Fix in Europe.
TECRES SPA, located in Verona, Italy, is a major European bone cement manufacturer whose products are sold worldwide. It collaborates with several international medical device manufacturers, such as Medtronic. In the future, Wiltrom and TECRES SAP will continue to deepen their cooperation, leveraging each other's strengths to develop the market further.
In addition to the European market, Wiltrom continues to focus on expanding its overseas channels in Central and South America. Besides the Mexican market where sales have already begun, markets in Brazil, Colombia, and Chile are also being developed gradually. To further expand the overseas sales of Tripod-Fix, Wiltrom continuously strengthens clinical evidence for its products. Clinical trials after market launch have been conducted at renowned research institutions in Germany, with good enrollment status. This will provide more clinical evidence, facilitating market entry, particularly in the United States.
For the US and mainland China markets, Wiltrom actively seeks strategic partners. With increasing sales volumes and clinical evidence both domestically and internationally, Wiltrom is poised for market expansion.
In 2023, Wiltrom achieved outstanding revenue growth, increasing by NT$75.67 million compared to 2022, a 36.58% year-on-year increase. Cumulative revenue for January and February 2024 reached NT$46.29 million, showing a 13.57% increase compared to the same period last year.
Looking ahead, with the expansion of overseas market layout, revenue for 2024 is expected to continue growing optimistically.
