Qisda reveals record-high revenue, fueled by add-onsNov 08, 2022

Qisda, a leading systems integrator, held its third quarter corporate presentation on the 7th. The first three quarters saw record revenue and profitability, with the medical and networking businesses posting the highest revenue growth in the third quarter, driving the proportion of revenue from new high value-added businesses to 47%. In the fourth quarter, Qisda expects to continue to face operational challenges such as inflation, interest rate hikes and market demand variability, and will be cautious in its efforts to balance supply and demand and continue to increase the contribution of its high value-added businesses and products.

In the medical business, Qisda will lead its affiliated companies to participate in the Medical Technology Expo on December 1, showcasing the latest achievements of the BenQ Qisda Group's more than 10 medical fleet companies.

Qisda Chairman Peter Chen said that Qisda's high value-added new business further increased its share of revenue to 47% in the third quarter, continuing to demonstrate growth momentum. Through the joint fleet strategy and the deployment of new market opportunities, Qisda's own growth has boosted the performance of its subsidiaries, including BenQ, Concord Medical, Alpha Networks and a few more subsidiaries, which all delivered growth in the first three quarters.

Qisda's President, Joe Huang, said that Qisda continues to carry out value enhancement infrastructure projects, and has strengthened its investments, refined its focus and optimized its organization this year. In the face of recent changes in the general environment, such as economic variability, Qisda has also been actively balancing supply and demand, expanding the supply of high-margin products and building the resilience of its supply chain.

Regarding the operating performance of the four business segments, Qisda's Healthcare and Networking businesses showed growth in the third quarter, with consolidated revenue up 33% and 38% respectively compared to the same period last year, while gross and net operating margins increased compared to the same period last year, and operating profit increased by over 200%.

Looking ahead to the fourth quarter, the information technology business will continue to optimize its high value-added product lines; the medical business will strengthen its business group with rapid integration as demand for dialysis products and consumables recovers; the smart solutions business will see steady demand for digital transformation and new infrastructure; and the network business will continue to ship new products.

With the epidemic easing and the recent increase in international exhibitions, Qisda, together with more than 10 group companies, will participate in the 2022 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo from December 1 to 4. As Taiwan's leading integrated medical electronics group, BenQ showcased the BenQ Qisda Group's flagship medical products and services in four major areas and 14 exhibition zones.
