In cooperation with Joint Clinical Research Center of Taipei Medical University, ICareYou Biotech initiated clinical studies of adult peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) banking process and its quality control system. On the basis of the trial results, ICareYou Biotech further established adult PBSC banking service which include contract signing, blood donor screening, sample collection and transportation, blood mononuclear cells (MNC) separation and purification, safety test, and PBSC storage.
ICareYou Biotech’s PBSC is stored in gas-phase nitrogen tanks with 24-hour temperature monitoring at Bioresource Collection and Research Center (BCRC), one of the research facilities of FIRDI. BCRC has been in operation since 1982, and the center is well-recognized as a high-quality cell preservation facility in Taiwan.

ICareYou Biotech adopts FDA-approved blood separation system, closed tubing system, and our patented centrifuge devices with plasma extractor to reduce the risk of contamination and to elevate the separation rate of cells. In terms of manufacturing process, an automated microfluidic syringe pump for constant speed-adding DMSO and a programmable cryogenic controlled rate freezer are utilized to reduce the damage of freezing cells and improve cell viability. Moreover, ICareYou Biotech provides high-standard stability and safety test report of PBSC banking service, including sterility, endotoxin, and Mycoplasma tests.
