Introduction
85% of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) occurs in 6~10 years after the onset of psoriatic, delayed diagnosis may lead to irreversible joint damage, however, there are no good diagnostic markers in current, the diagnostic markers we have developed can diagnosis PsA accurately, allow we test all psoriatic patients, early diagnosis PsA, and treat early to avoid disability.
Features / strengths
Currently, about 60% of the biologics used for PsA treatment have achieved 20% to improve painful joints but 40% patients can’t achieve good improvement. Our research shown miR-146a-5p and miR-941 inhibitors are effective in inhibiting osteoclasts' activity, provide a good therapeutic. The diagnostic and therapeutic targets of miR-146a-5p and miR-941 in PsA have been patented in the United States, Taiwan, and Japan, expect all psoriatic patients will be able to be diagnosed with PsA at early stage in the future.
