Genomics BioSci & Tech has received approval from the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) board for its listing on the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB), with Taichung Bank Securities as the lead underwriter.
Legacy and Expertise: Founded in 2001 by pioneer Dr. Chou Der-yuan, Genomics BioSci began with rice genome sequencing and has evolved into Taiwan’s largest commercial sequencing provider.
Diversification and Growth: Genomics BioSci reported record revenue of $708 million (+36.86% YoY) last year. The company has successfully diversified into clinical diagnostics, nucleic acids, CDMO services, and instrument agency (partnering with Illumina and Thermo Fisher).
International Outlook: The company is seeing "multi-point blooming" in overseas markets including the Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, and Thailand. With 10 newly certified LDTs (Laboratory Developed Tests) aligned with national health insurance subsidies, Genomics BioSci expects its clinical diagnostic and international revenue to grow substantially in 2026.
