The Taiwan biotech industry enters 2026 with a flurry of high-profile activities in January. On January 5, Elixiron (安立璽榮)-KY will hold its pre-IPO performance briefing for the Emerging Stock Board. On January 7, TaiMed Biologics (中裕) will host an institutional investor conference. January 8 marks two significant events: Bora Pharmaceuticals (保瑞) will hold Taiwan's first-ever Level 1 American Depositary Receipt (ADR) launch ceremony, while medical device manufacturer Bioteque (邦特) inaugurates its new Yilan Science Park facility. On January 9, the national health data task force—the Taiwan Health Network Platform (TwHealth Nexus)—will hold its official opening and partnership ceremony.

• Elixiron: A biotech firm specializing in innovative immunotherapies for Vitiligo, Alzheimer’s, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), and oncology. Its lead antibody candidate, EI-001 for Vitiligo, recently enrolled its first patient in a Phase II clinical trial.
• TaiMed Biologics: Focused on anti-HIV therapies, TaiMed recently completed the first patient enrollment for its long-acting dual-antibody Phase 2b trial (TMB-365/TMB-380). Completion of the Phase 2b trial is expected in 1H 2026.
• Bora Pharmaceuticals: Its Level 1 ADR (to be launched at the Taiwan Stock Exchange) is structured such that one ADR unit represents 0.2 common shares, with a total issuance cap of 10% of outstanding shares.
