ScinoPharm Taiwan Reports Record-High August Revenue Driven by Alzheimer’s Drug Manufacturing OrdersSep 15, 2025

ScinoPharm Taiwan’s August revenue surged to NT$345 million, marking a 72.8% month-on-month increase and a 62.7% year-on-year rise — its best performance this year. The strong growth was mainly fueled by contract manufacturing orders for a new Alzheimer’s disease drug.

Earlier in the year, ScinoPharm’s revenue had declined partly due to delays in client demand for its contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services related to the Alzheimer’s project. However, as shipments ramped up in August, monthly revenue soared to NT$345 million, narrowing the cumulative revenue decline for the first eight months of the year to less than 6%. CDMO business accounted for 90% of August revenue, with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) making up the remaining 10%.

ScinoPharm currently holds several peptide API products and is in discussions for formulation partnerships, which could be finalized within the next six to twelve months. On the injectable drug front, the company aims to obtain regulatory approval for its diabetes injection pen by the end of this year or early next year, while its multiple sclerosis formulation is also expected to be approved in the second half of the year, potentially becoming a new growth driver in late 2025 or 2026.

Additionally, ScinoPharm has recently submitted applications in Taiwan for marketing approval of one oncology drug and one metabolic (diabetes) drug. Approvals could come as early as the first half of 2026, with both products targeted for inclusion in the National Health Insurance system. The company expects these new drugs to begin contributing to revenue starting in 2026.
