Wistron Group is aggressively tapping into the booming AI sector, not only strengthening its capabilities in AI server assembly but also actively expanding into AI-powered healthcare, further enhancing the group’s overall AI portfolio.
Among its initiatives, Wistron Medical, the group’s high-end smart medical device manufacturing subsidiary, has achieved significant progress in its AI-based contactless care solutions. Two of its independently developed systems—BestShape VS Physiological Monitoring System and BestShape Care Wellness Support Service—are leading the way in contactless physiological care. These solutions leverage AI technology to build virtual, wall-less hospital wards, significantly enhancing the efficiency and safety of patient care in healthcare facilities across Taiwan.
Shu-Shiuan Ho, Associate Manager at Wistron Medical, noted that the company has recently focused on applying AI to healthcare. About six months ago, it began a close collaboration with Taipei Medical University, using AI-driven equipment to assist medical staff in patient management. This is especially beneficial in infectious disease wards, where it helps reduce the need for healthcare workers to frequently put on and take off protective isolation gear.
