With the immense business opportunities in the U.S. contact lens market, VIZIONFOCUS sees this as a key growth driver following its success in Japan and mainland China.

General Manager An Shih stated that the FDA certification underscores VIZIONFOCUS’s ability to meet the growing demand for silicone hydrogel daily disposable contact lenses in the U.S. market, offering consumers higher-quality, more comfortable, and clearer vision solutions.

Since the launch of its silicone hydrogel daily lenses in mainland China this September, the company has received highly positive customer feedback. With the U.S. approval now secured, this will further enhance operational momentum. Currently, revenue from silicone hydrogel products accounts for only about 1% of the company’s total. However, revenue from these products is expected to grow exponentially next year.

Silicone hydrogel contact lenses are renowned for their exceptional oxygen permeability and comfort, allowing increased oxygen flow to the eyes, which helps maintain eye health while providing all-day comfort. The FDA approval marks an important milestone in VIZIONFOCUS’s entry into the U.S. market. The company plans to continue introducing new products and securing certifications in various countries to expand its global presence.
