On the 18th, Missioncare Medicine announced its strategic collaboration with Landseed Hospital, Shanghai, aimed at expanding its regional and service scope, integrating resources, and establishing itself as a leading brand in Asia’s healthcare service sector. The partnership was officially launched on the 17th at Missioncare Medicine's Smart Health Management Center in Taoyuan.

Fred H. Yang, CEO of Missioncare Medicine and Chairman of SHAREHOPE MEDICINE, noted that Landseed Hospital, Shanghai, was originally part of the Landseed International Medical Group in Taiwan. It is now managed by a holding company under Affinity Equity, one of the largest private equity funds in the Asia-Pacific region. The hospital’s new post-investment management team comprises elite professionals from across Greater China. Pei-Chen Liao, the COO of Landseed Hospital, Shanghai, and the signing representative for this partnership, previously held a key role at Missioncare Medicine.

In recent years, Landseed Hospital, Shanghai, has actively extended its operations. After assuming his role as COO, Pei-Chen Liao sought support from his former employer, Missioncare Medicine, to discuss enhancing healthcare services and collaborations across both regions with Fred H. Yang.

Fred H. Yang stated that the collaboration includes resource-sharing for medical consultations, teaching and research cooperation, development of premium healthcare and health management brands, exclusive health management services for Taiwanese businesses, and streamlined cross-strait patient referral pathways. He also praised Pei-Chen Liao as an outstanding colleague who had played a pivotal role in Missioncare Medicine’s JCI accreditation process. With a decade of remarkable achievements in mainland China, Yang expressed delight at the opportunity to renew their professional relationship, emphasizing that their mutual understanding would facilitate a smoother collaboration while minimizing challenges.

Pei-Chen Liao shared his gratitude for the support of Fred H. Yang and his excitement at returning to his former organization to learn from past colleagues and leaders. He highlighted the mutually beneficial opportunities this collaboration brings, noting that the recently convened "Shanghai-Taipei Twin Cities Forum" announced a gradual reopening of group tourism for Chinese travelers to Taiwan. As a frontline link between healthcare resources in the two regions, Landseed Hospital, Shanghai, aims to become the premier medical institution in the minds of cross-strait patients and regional markets, leveraging this partnership to deliver superior healthcare services.
