Far East Medical Electronics announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Taipei Veterans General Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam, the day before yesterday. The collaboration aims to provide medical security services for short to long-term business travelers, elderly travelers, and chronic disease patients facing medical needs overseas, such as in Vietnam. This will be facilitated through Far East Medical Electronics' "Travel e-Care" platform, which will connect with medical institutions abroad in collaboration with Taipei Veterans General Hospital.
Far East Medical Electronics stated that this collaboration with Taipei Veterans General Hospital extends their reach to Vietnam. The MOU was signed on March 30th in Hanoi, marking the integration and promotion of Taiwan's smart healthcare capabilities and platform services in Vietnam. The "Travel e-Care" service provided by Far East Medical Electronics will be applied to Taipei Veterans General Hospital's cooperative medical institutions in Vietnam. This will ensure that Taiwanese citizens traveling to Vietnam will have access to medical security services, ensuring a more worry-free travel experience.
According to Far East Medical Electronics, "Travel e-Care" includes features such as online appointment scheduling, instant messaging software, pricing, automated medication dispensers, AI HUB, membership management platforms, and online payments, all of which are linked to medical institutions worldwide. When people have medical needs overseas, they can immediately contact medical institutions and receive appropriate medical care.
Chairman Deng Chun-nan of Far East Medical Electronics stated that "Travel e-Care" is currently allied with important hospitals in Taiwan, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other localities. Deng emphasized that this collaboration not only involves technological integration but also transcends culture and medical services, bringing new opportunities to the healthcare industry in Southeast Asia.
