eCloudvalley digital technology Co., Ltd. expands healthcare layoutApr 02, 2024

Software firms are actively expanding into healthcare, with  eCloudvalley Digital Technology  Co., Ltd.  partnering with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital  to jointly introduce a hybrid cloud architecture for medical information systems; Galaxy Software Services's Vitals KPIM indicator program and control platform have successfully gone live in the Chang Gung Medical System; while Up Great participates in the Series B fundraising of H2U, a health startup invested by Foxconn founder Terry Gou, extending its operations into the healthcare sector.

In the past, due to regulatory restrictions, medical institutions have been relatively conservative in adopting cloud solutions, but the emergence of cloud architecture offers new options for healthcare institutions.

eCloudvalley, in collaboration with database software giant Oracle and system integrator Syscom group, has re-planned the existing infrastructure of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, introducing ExaC@C to deploy the data center in the server room, avoiding the risk of data leakage while bringing cloud advantages.

eCloudvalley points out that by integrating outpatient, emergency, and inpatient systems into the cloud, the system becomes more stable, improving overall efficiency by 50%, while reducing costs by 35%, bringing new thinking and solutions to the healthcare industry.

After the global experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, the healthcare industry has gradually realized the need to adapt to rapidly changing challenges, becoming a new opportunity for eCloudvalley to enter the healthcare industry.

GSS has been deeply involved in the healthcare industry for many years, familiar with hospital operations and related industry knowledge, using knowledge management systems to assist many medical centers in systematically managing medical evaluation certification data. In recent years, it has also launched indicator management systems and big data analysis systems to help hospitals strengthen management efficiency.

GSS' Vitals KPIM indicator program and control platform has been launched in the Chang Gung Medical System and has received high satisfaction from customers. With the widespread adoption of this medical indicator management system, GSS's capacity in the medical field will continue to expand.

Up Great previously participated in the Series B fundraising of H2U, a digital health brand invested by Terry Gou, founder of Foxconn, conducting strategic investments and extending its operational reach into the healthcare sector. Both sides will have close cooperation in cloud business in the future.

H2U is expected to enter the Taiwan capital market by the end of the year, aiming to become a landmark digital health unicorn in Asia. Up Great stated that H2U is a pioneer in medical technology startups, and Up Great is a strategic investment. In the future, there will be cooperation in business, most of which will be related to cloud services.
