In response to the concept of net zero healthcare, Cooperative Bank collaborated with Taipei Veterans General Hospital and the main branch of National Taiwan University Hospital last year to form an ecosystem partner and held the "Initiating Clean Healthcare, Green Point Rewards" event, which received widespread praise. This year, they have signed a cooperation agreement with Tri-Service General Hospital.
To encourage people to use online payment for medical expenses, from September 2023 to February 2024, Cooperative Bank launched the first wave of environmentally friendly green point rewards, effectively increasing the usage rate of online payment services for partner hospitals. From March 1st to December 31st this year, the participation scope has been expanded. In addition to Taipei Veterans General Hospital and the main branch of National Taiwan University Hospital, various branches of National Taiwan University Hospital and Tri-Service General Hospital have been added.
The environmental green points are part of the Ministry of Environment's encouragement of green consumption through the launch of an environmental point collection app. The points obtained can be used for various purposes, including exchanging for daily necessities with environmental labels, or redeeming discounts at cooperating businesses such as hotels and restaurants. They can even be used to redeem coffee at convenience stores, with up to 3,000 items available for redemption. Additionally, points can be donated to designated charitable organizations.
