ASUS showcased a series of significant achievements in smart healthcare at the 11th Smart City Forum and Exhibition, demonstrating its leading position in the field of smart healthcare. ASUS is committed to accelerating the development of smart healthcare by integrating AI applications, intelligent IoT, and information platforms, while promoting the ubiquitous application of artificial intelligence in the medical field. 

Smart Wearables: Precise Measurements, Personalized Health Advice 

ASUS currently offers a range of smart health watches, including the VivoWatch 5, VivoWatch 5 AERO, SP, and BP models. With diversified product segmentation and a full series of independently developed advantages, ASUS allows customers to flexibly adjust according to clinical needs. These comfortable-to-wear health watches serve as the best partners for healthcare teams in collecting personal clinical data, covering health indicators such as blood pressure, electrocardiogram, blood oxygen, sleep, step count, and calorie consumption. 

In 2024, ASUS plans to further introduce new models for body composition analysis and cardiovascular health-related value detection. Besides leveraging the advantage of local manufacturing in Taiwan, ASUS designs models with a long-lasting battery life of up to one week or even one month, meeting the demands for excellent power management. 

AI Application Showcase: Personalized Health Advice and Smart Medical Assistance 

Another key focus is the AI integration software applications showcased by ASUS. Notably, ASUS demonstrated AI-integrated software applications tailored to the data collected by smartwatches, including emotional, stress, and sleep data. It has developed an AI Coaching Platform software, offering personalized health advice and intelligent medical assistance. The official launch and market promotion of this platform are scheduled to begin in May 2024. 

Edge AI Empowerment: Improving Doctors' Diagnostic Efficiency with Intelligent Ultrasound Scanning 

ASUS showcased three new Edge AI software services for its LU800 and LU700 handheld ultrasound scanning devices, which are highly praised and have the largest market share among the medical professional community in Taiwan. These services include AI voice control, one-click optimization (Smart Preset AI), and automatic measurement. They automatically determine the scanned area, adjust to the most suitable image parameters, provide optimized images, and automatically calculate the results during scanning, eliminating lengthy manual operation processes. ASUS's handheld wireless ultrasound devices have been successfully introduced into major medical centers across Taiwan. Additionally, examples of telemedicine using 5G connectivity in rural areas and emergency use in ambulances demonstrate significant development potential. 

Telecare: Breaking Geographical Restrictions, Providing Real-Time Medical Services 

HealthHub, or "ASUS Health Station," targets applications for managing the health, exercise, and medical care of household members or meeting the needs of caregivers for elderly family members with chronic diseases. Noteworthy features of this product include easy-to-use measurements and risk alerts when abnormal measurement results are detected. It facilitates the sharing of medical records with doctors or pharmacists for reference. It also assists in setting reminders for medication and measurements for the elderly and facilitates emergency communication with important family members, providing a sense of security and safety. HealthHub offers real-person health management consulting services and supports ChatGPT intelligent health assistant's simulated human-like conversation, providing immediate inquiries to assist in caring for the elderly, achieving "Family members can care for the health of the elderly anytime, anywhere, and encourage the elderly to actively manage their health." 

ASUS's HealthHub, besides targeting household users, will soon launch versions for professional users such as enterprises and hospitals. Several important PoC verification cases have expanded to applications in family clinics and community pharmacies. In May 2024, ASUS plans to launch a marketing plan for the household version in Taiwan, bringing consumers a more convenient and intelligent health management experience. ASUS will continue to deepen its involvement in the field of smart healthcare, creating a healthier and happier life for people.
