Bora Pharmaceuticals netted NT$5.137 billion in revenue of Q4 2022, close to the previous three quarters' total of NT$5.183 billion, making it the most profitable pharmaceutical company.
The company has set new highs in revenue for ten consecutive years. It is the pharmaceutical company next to Lotus Biopharma in Taiwan's pharmaceutical industry with an annual revenue of over 10 billion. Together with Lotus, Syn-Tech Chem & Pharm, Chunghwa Chemical Synthesis & Biotech, TTY Biopharm, PBF, SCI Pharmtech, Nang Kuang Pharmaceutical and PharmaEngine, the profit growth will also lead the biotechnology industry into a new golden age. From 2023, the overall industry is expected to enter a new turning point.
In the fourth quarter, Bora's consolidated revenue was NT$5.137 billion, an increase of 340%. The company expects to continue to grow in 2023 as a result of the launch of its subsidiary TWi Pharmaceutical's own products in the U.S. and the launch of its OEM business.
The company has the largest production capacity in Taiwan and is one of the few international pharmaceutical companies in Asia with a complete production chain. It can provide professional OEM services in response to the regulations of many countries and sells to more than 100 countries worldwide.
The acquisition of TWi Pharmaceuticals, which will become the Company's most significant income generation stream from September 2022, has resulted in a significant increase in the company's revenue.
TWi Pharmaceuticals has a number of generic drug approvals and is already on the market in the United States, and is currently on track to launch its self-developed generic Dexilant (Dexlansoprazole DR Capsule) for gastro-oesophageal reflux in the US market in late January.
In addition, TWi's aseptic manufacturing Syn-Pac Kingdom plant will be inspected by the FDA in October 2022, making it the first prescription eye drop manufacturer in Taiwan to meet FDA requirements. TWi has two ophthalmic drugs pending with the FDA approval.
