Q.synergy Taiwan 2022, an annual branding event held by Quanta's cloud provider QCT, was held on the 14th of March, with Q.synergy Taiwan's General Manager Mike Yang pointing out that the company has been working with its ecosystem partners to validate its digital transformation performance in the field of 5G x AI in several global arenas, and that the company is gradually closing the gap. Themed "Mastering 5G x AI Innovation for Enterprise Digital Transformation", the event featured six keynote speeches and five global case studies, showcasing the global real-world applications of cloud infrastructure-based 5G and HPC & AI solutions in manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, urban and entertainment sectors, as well as a display of liquid-cooled enclosures and the upcoming next-generation Intel The event attracted over 200 participants from industry, government, academia and domestic and international partners.
At the same time, Inventec also held a grand opening ceremony for the 5G Next Lab and signed a quadripartite memorandum of understanding with Microsoft, Trend Micro, and Nextcom to capture the 5G enterprise networking opportunity, in a bid to differentiate itself from Quanta.
QCT has also assisted the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in incubating commercial digital transformation using Campus 5G, partnered with German partners to develop transformation applications in smart healthcare, logistics and manufacturing, and built HPC & AI platforms for universities and research institutes in China and abroad to accelerate research. We are also building HPC & AI platforms for universities and research institutes in China and abroad to accelerate the digital transformation of various vertical industries with integrated solutions.
To address the needs of different industries, Cloudtec has partnered with several Taiwanese system integrators to develop different applications based on the QCT OmniPOD 5G enterprise network and QCT POD HPC&AI converged platform from Intel Technology.
For example, the company collaborated with HwaCom Systems on a simulation training system that combines VR/AR glasses to speed up operators and improve operational efficiency; and with Taiwan's Digital Optical Technology Group to create a unique 5G dedicated studio in the central region.
In addition, the company also collaborated with Panasonic Taiwan to use a medical e-mirror system to provide guidance on protective clothing donning and doffing through 5G real-time transmission and AI error detection; with Air Vision Technology to use 5G to transmit real-time images and integrate drones and AI cloud solutions to perform security, inspection and disaster relief tasks; and with Dastech to continue to develop modern data centre and HPC field applications from AI to endpoint.
