The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) announced that it has collaborated with Guider Tech to develop the "800Z Smart Health Watch System", which incorporates an AI artificial intelligence analysis system for Taiwan's medical certification process, and is being tested for the first time at the Ministry of Health and Welfare Changhua Hospital.
In the post-epidemic era and with the rise of various technologies, smart wearable devices have gradually taken their place in our lives, and telemedicine through smart wearable devices may also accelerate the development in the fields of "early diagnosis", "personalised treatment" and "chronic disease management".
Seeing the trend of telemedicine, ITRI and related medical institutions continue to research and develop and conduct factory validation, hoping to use wearable devices to help people monitor their health data over time, allowing healthcare professionals to detect cardiovascular diseases, dementia, sleep and latent diseases early, or to provide better personalised medical assistance through continuous health data models to achieve personalised and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
In view of the risk of infection in hemodialysis under the risk of epidemic, ITRI has collaborated with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's Changhua Hospital to establish an intelligent hemodialysis clinical information system, which has successfully electronicised all dialysis medical records, medical information and shift information.
The two companies are now working together to combine the ITRI-developed AI artificial intelligence BOX with Guider's bracelet to upload patient physiological information in real time, and then immediately perform AI calculations on the data through marginal computing to provide nursing staff with the latest patient status, allowing for more secure medical care.
ITRI assisted the "800Z Smart Health Watch System" to conduct field validation in Changhua Hospital, analyzing continuous health data of patients during dialysis and understanding physiological trends and changes through AI accurate health data models.
The 800Z Smart Health Watch System supports the collection and application of important health data such as electrocardiography (ECG), blood oxygen concentration, dynamic heart rate, dynamic pressure, and body temperature.
The 800Z Smart Health Watch System supports Bluetooth gateway function for real-time health data collection and management in large venues such as medical institutions, elderly centres and corporate offices, as well as real-time help button, which can be used as an effective system for patient health data monitoring and responding to emergency needs, efficiently monitoring the health status of patients and reducing the care burden of healthcare workers.
