Lotus Pharmaceutical (美時) announced on the 21st significant progress in its Vietnamese portfolio acquisition. Following an asset purchase agreement signed in June 2025, the company has completed the closing conditions for four out of five acquired drug products: Betahema, Folinato, Carmotop, and Espacox. Commercial sales are expected to begin in Q1 2026.

• Acquisition Scope: The deal, executed by subsidiary Lotus International Pte. Ltd. with Duy Tan Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, includes trademarks, Marketing Authorizations (MA), and manufacturing/supply agreements for five products.
• Portfolio Strength: The products span hematology, oncology, cardiovascular, and anti-inflammatory sectors. This portfolio generated approximately US$8 million in revenue in 2024, with a robust CAGR of 22% from 2022 to 2024.
• Financial Context: Lotus reported a record-breaking 2025 with consolidated revenue exceeding NT$20.5 billion (+10% YoY), bolstered by the Alvogen US acquisition. General Manager Petar Vazharov emphasized that this Vietnamese expansion reinforces Lotus’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable medicine across Southeast Asia.
