Pet Pharm Biotech (吉晟生技) and HoneyBear Biosciences (嘉正生技) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 19th to localize the development of Antibody-Radionuclide Conjugates (ARC)—the next generation of targeted cancer therapy.

Technical & Clinical Synergy:

• Next-Gen ADC: ARCs function similarly to Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs) but deliver a radioactive payload directly to tumor cells, offering high specificity and enhanced therapeutic efficacy.
• Localizing the Supply Chain: Historically, ARC development in Taiwan was hindered by the lack of local radionuclide supply. Pet Pharm Biotech, the first PIC/S GMP-certified radiopharmaceutical plant in Asia, is constructing a new facility in Miaoli equipped with a 30 MeV cyclotron and animal testing platforms.
• Global Strategy: HoneyBear Biosciences plans to file a US IND this year, with a goal to initiate human clinical trials simultaneously in both the United States and Taiwan.
