The results of the 2025 Symbol of National Quality (SNQ) and National Biotechnology and Medicine Care Quality Award, organized by the Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry (IBMI) and the Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy, have been released. A total of 34 medical services and biomedical products were selected, receiving 8 Silver and 26 Bronze awards. Notably, Sun Ten Pharmaceutical broke an 11-year drought for the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) category by winning a Bronze award for "NRICM101" (Taiwan Qingguan Yi Hao), marking a significant milestone for the industry.

• Diverse Innovation: Ever Fortune. AI (長佳智能) demonstrated the most versatile performance, securing certifications across three distinct domains: Medical Peripheral Services (GeneBao), Smart Healthcare (Pediatric Growth Assessment System), and Cosmetic Products.
• Industry Growth: Chief Juror Chen Wei-chao noted that SNQ focuses on scientific evidence and professional review to ensure clinical value. This year saw 457 applications—a 15% increase from last year—across 11 categories including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, smart healthcare, and nutrition.
• Pharmaceuticals: Pfizer emerged as the top achiever in the pharmaceutical category with one award and two certifications, specifically for its Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine, 20-valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV20), and Vyndaqel (Tafamidis).
• Animal Health & Nutrition: Boehringer Ingelheim dominated the animal health sector with four recognized items. In the nutrition category, Yung Shin Pharm and Grape King Bio were highly recommended for their functional health food ingredients.
