The 2025 Taiwan Healthcare+ Expo concluded on December 7 in Taipei, centered on the theme of "Scaling Global Connectivity." The event highlighted Taiwan's emergence as a strategically valuable hub for medical landing, evidenced by a €200 million Czech procurement deal, the first visit by a collective of heavyweight global VCs, and a historic partnership between Taiwan’s SNQ (Symbol of National Quality) and ICHOM.
Wong Chi-huey, Chairman of IBMI (Institute for Biotechnology and Medicine Industry), noted that while Taiwan possesses a strong medical and R&D foundation, early synchronization with international capital and technology is essential for local innovations to penetrate global markets.
