Historic Czech Procurement: NT$7.4 Billion Deal Signed at Healthcare+ ExpoDec 05, 2025

A landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Czech Health Technology Institute (CHTI) and IBMI, represented by Vice Chairman Pan-Chyr Yang. The deal involves the procurement of Taiwanese medical devices valued at up to €200 million (approx. NT$7.4 billion), marking the highest matchmaking value in the expo's history.

  • Target Market: The procurement focuses on strengthening healthcare infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa, specifically for primary care, maternal and child health, and regional hospital resilience.
  • Procurement Scope: The list includes roughly 20 categories, such as ICU ventilators, multi-parameter patient monitors, and fetal ECG monitors.
  • EU Gateway: CHTI will leverage Taiwan's innovative and stable hardware to meet EU regulatory standards, providing a strategic entry point for Taiwanese firms into Eastern European and emerging markets.
