Strategic Goals:

• AB-BNCT Integration: The partnership aims to strengthen software development and system integration for Accelerator-Based Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (AB-BNCT) systems.
• Global Outreach: Heron Neutron Medical GM Shen Hsiao-lien noted this as a milestone for global strategic positioning, while Cosylab CEO Mark Pleško highlighted AB-BNCT as one of the most promising therapies for refractory and recurrent cancers.
• Technical Breadth: Heron Neutron Medical’s expertise covers accelerators, neutron beamlines, and clinical workflow integration. Cosylab brings expertise in complex systems like fusion reactors and quantum devices to the collaboration.
