Point-of-care diagnostics company GeneReach Biotechnology is seeing strong momentum in its two core overseas markets—livestock and companion animal diagnostics—with robust performance across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. This surge propelled revenue for the first five months of the year to NT$89.65 million, marking a 14.05% year-on-year increase. Looking ahead to 2025, the company plans to solidify its foothold in mature markets such as Japan, France, South Africa, and Canada, while accelerating development in South America, particularly in Ecuador and Paraguay, which are expected to become key growth drivers.
GeneReach noted that its livestock diagnostics segment continues to benefit from growing demand for swine and poultry disease testing. In Southeast Asia, sales for these segments soared by 46% and 29%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the companion animal segment has gained significant traction in the Middle East, with a rapidly expanding network of veterinary clinic clients. Markets such as Chile and France are also taking off, driving a 25% year-on-year increase in overall sales.
In 2025, GeneReach will continue to consolidate its advantages in established markets—Japan, France, South Africa, and Canada—while intensifying efforts to develop the South American market, focusing on Ecuador and Paraguay, which are poised to become the next engines of revenue growth.
To further strengthen its brand influence, GeneReach actively participated in several international industry events in June, including WSAVA CE Taipei, ASM Microbe, and the 11th International Symposium on Avian Influenza. These efforts aim to raise the company’s global visibility and open new opportunities for strategic partnerships.
