TSH Biopharm’s Arthritis Drug Launches in MacauMay 02, 2025

TSH Biopharm announced on the 1st that its medication Lonine, developed for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, was officially launched and shipped in Macau at the end of April, marking another step forward in expanding its overseas market presence.

In March this year, TSH Biopharm recorded consolidated revenue of NT$94.145 million, representing an 81.02% year-on-year increase, mainly driven by rising market demand and increased revenue contribution from subsidiaries. For the first quarter of 2024, consolidated revenue reached NT$287 million, up 43.21% compared to the same period last year. The company stated that its consolidated revenue, operating profit, and earnings per share (EPS) have all grown significantly from the previous period, reflecting a solid core business structure. This growth is also attributed to the launch of new products and optimized product mix, with overall business momentum continuing to rise.

Notably, Lonine, the drug for treating rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, was launched and shipped in Macau at the end of April.

In recent years, TSH Biopharm has also completed several key collaborations to expand its portfolio of new specialty medicines and diagnostic products. These include obtaining Taiwan market approval for Tyrvaya, an innovative nasal spray for dry eye disease, which will soon be introduced.

The company has also signed an agency agreement with a Korean diagnostics firm to introduce a next-generation cancer testing product and entered into an agreement with a Spanish pharmaceutical company to secure exclusive sales rights in Taiwan for a new orthopedic product. These efforts are part of its continued strategy to grow its self-pay and specialty drug segments.
