Inventec, a leading global manufacturer, has made significant strides in the smart healthcare sector. To address the growing demand for cancer tumor cell detection and gut health testing, the company has partnered with Malaysia’s leading smart healthcare firm, WellSpring, to develop three product lines: circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection, GutEase, and probiotics. Recently, Inventec announced that its "fully automated equipment" has been successfully established in Malaysia, marking its first major step into overseas markets. This advancement enables local laboratories to perform cutting-edge detection techniques, accelerating the company’s ability to secure orders.
Dr. Lin ZhiPeng, head of Good Future Biomedical Technology, highlighted that the "circulating tumor cell (CTC) detection" system (Chiline CATCH CTC enrichment) offers three remarkable features: 1) High sensitivity: Precisely identifies extremely rare tumor cells among billions of cells; 2) Non-invasive: Requires only a blood draw to monitor cancer progression; 3) Broad applicability: Suitable for early cancer detection, recurrence risk assessment, treatment monitoring, and personalized therapy recommendations. The introduction of fully automated systems locally not only signifies Inventec’s entry into the global market but also represents a critical step forward in advancing human health and offering new hope for cancer patients.
While Inventec has established a solid foundation in cancer screening, the gut health market is relatively novel. Dr. Lin admitted that "gut health" is closely tied to daily life, and through their gut microbiome detection system and probiotic products, users can quickly and non-invasively assess their gut health. These tools will not only help the company penetrate local markets swiftly but also assist in addressing issues such as hypertension, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, diarrhea, obesity, and skin allergies.
Since their collaboration began earlier this year, Good Future Biomedical and WellSpring have actively pursued innovative developments in smart healthcare and health screening. WellSpring has also become the exclusive distributor of Inventec’s Total Health products in Malaysia. Dr. Lin revealed that the two companies aim to achieve greater success by combining Total Health’s advanced physiological monitoring devices with Good Future Biomedical’s gut health solutions.
Looking ahead, Good Future Biomedical will continue to refine its CTC detection technologies while expanding its gut health product offerings, further deepening its presence in local markets and fostering new opportunities in the healthcare sector.
