AsiaPathogenomics, an investee company of TCI GENE listed on the Emerging Stock Market, announced yesterday that it has completed a new round of capital injection. The round introduces CREATIVE LIFE SCIENCE and SinoPac Securities Venture Capital (SinoPac Securities VC) as strategic investors, joining TCI GENE and BIOTOOLS as part of the strategic shareholder lineup.

Focusing on clinical infectious pathogen gene sequencing and testing services, AsiaPathogenomics stated that this partnership will enhance the company’s technological advantages and financial flexibility, solidifying its leadership in Taiwan’s infectious pathogen gene testing market while expanding its footprint across the Asian market.

The company's core product, APGseq Pathogen Gene Sequencing Test, aids clinical physicians in medical institutions to develop personalized treatment plans, embodying the principles of precision medicine. After securing up to 100 million yen in funding from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s Overseas Startup Program last year, AsiaPathogenomics plans to establish a subsidiary in Tokyo this year to enter Japan’s infectious pathogen testing market.
