Mycenax Biotech announced the opening of its "Automated Multi-Formulation" filling line on the 16th. This filling line, which represents an investment of NT$700 million, features world-renowned technology from Germany's Optima, including an automated filling machine, lyophilizer, and isolator. It boasts a flexible design capable of filling various formulations and dosages while allowing for rapid changeovers, thereby increasing production flexibility and enhancing product quality. This development significantly bolsters Mycenax's one-stop CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) services by offering high-quality, sterile filling solutions for a range of biopharmaceuticals.

Mycenax stated that the filling line can accommodate various formulations, including liquid vials, lyophilized vials, and pre-filled syringes, with the capability to fill liquid vials in dosages ranging from 2R to 10R, depending on specific needs. Additionally, this highly automated line can achieve a maximum output of 10,000 doses per hour, with an annual production capacity exceeding 8 million doses. It is the first automated filling line in Taiwan that can flexibly meet the diverse demands of clinical trial drugs in small quantities and the mass production needs of commercialized drugs.

Furthermore, Mycenax highlighted that its GMP-certified second manufacturing plant in Zhunan has production lines capable of producing up to 12,000 liters of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The addition of the annual production capacity of 8 million doses from the automated filling line positions Mycenax as the only CDMO in Taiwan capable of offering high-quality biopharmaceuticals through a one-stop service. The GMP-certified second plant is designed to assist clients in improving production efficiency and effectively reducing costs, establishing a significant advantage and highlight for Mycenax in securing contracts.
