Ever Fortune.AI announced on the 16th that its "Pleural Effusion Detection System" has received medical device approval from Malaysia. To date, Ever Fortune.AI has obtained a total of 41 domestic and international medical device licenses, including 15 from Taiwan's TFDA, 11 from the U.S. FDA, and 15 from other countries.
The company stated that its "Pleural Effusion Detection System" utilizes AI deep learning technology to automatically analyze chest X-ray images (posteroanterior view) of adult patients aged 18 and older to determine whether they exhibit characteristics of pleural effusion. The analysis results can be transmitted to PACS/workstation systems for prioritization or categorization on the worklist. When pleural effusion characteristics are detected, the software triggers an alert through the PACS/RIS workstation, allowing radiologists to identify patients with signs of pleural effusion earlier than standard clinical processes, enabling timely medical intervention.
Yu-Cheng Lee, CEO of Ever Fortune.AI, noted that the company's expansion in the Southeast Asian market is progressing steadily. They have signed a strategic partnership agreement with the University Medical Shing Mark Hospital in Vietnam, where Ever Fortune.AI will assist the hospital in implementing 4 to 6 AI-based medical products, establishing it as Vietnam's first smart hospital. The hospital will also serve as Ever Fortune.AI’s product showcase and local distributor in Vietnam. The first collaboration between the two parties will kick off on November 18 in Ho Chi Minh City with a free AI-assisted health consultation event. Ever Fortune.AI will assist the hospital in providing on-site bone age detection services, demonstrating the effectiveness of AI in healthcare.
