The "2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo" will take place from December 5 to 8, with major electronics manufacturers such as Compal, Inventec, Quanta, and Wistron participating. These companies will display their AI-integrated medical products, aiming to capture a share of the booming AI-driven smart healthcare market.
The 2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo, organized by the Biomedical Technology and Industry Alliance and the Taiwan Bio-Development Foundation, will focus on three main themes: smart healthcare, precision medicine, and health for all ages, covering nine key areas.
Taiwanese electronics manufacturers have actively entered the medical equipment sector in recent years, with Compal having a relatively longer history in the field. Compal Group has already established partnerships with several domestic medical institutions, and its proprietary ablation technology products have expanded into international markets. This year, Compal’s subsidiary, Honsin BioMedical, will participate in the Taiwan Healthcare Expo, targeting both domestic and international market collaborations to seize opportunities in the medical industry.
Inventec, through its subsidiaries Inventec Appliances and Rongwen Healthcare, has secured numerous contracts in the medical technology sector over the years. Last year, Inventec Group made headlines at the Taiwan Healthcare Expo with its "CTC Detection" technology for cancer tumor screening. This year, Inventec will return to the expo, with its booth located in the public exhibition area on the first floor, strategically aiming at a different customer base compared to its competitors.
In response to the growing demand for smart healthcare, Wistron established Wistron Medical in 2016. Leveraging the group’s accumulated expertise and supply chain capabilities, Wistron Medical continues to collaborate with internal and external partners to develop medical products and build a comprehensive service ecosystem, driving the enhancement of the industry value chain.
