On the 1st, China Chemical & Pharmaceutical (CCP) announced that Moderna Taiwan and CCP's marketing and sales subsidiary, Cenra Healthcare, have reached a collaboration agreement to jointly promote Moderna's mRNA respiratory vaccine portfolio in Taiwan. This includes Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine, Spikevax.
Under the agreement, Moderna will be responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of its mRNA respiratory vaccines, while Cenra Healthcare will manage the promotion and execution of medical education activities. The goal is to ensure that comprehensive medical information related to Moderna’s mRNA respiratory vaccines is widely disseminated across Taiwan. The initial term of the agreement runs until July 31, 2027, with no financial terms disclosed.
Joyce Lee, General Manager of Moderna Taiwan, expressed excitement about collaborating with Cenra Healthcare, a company deeply rooted in the field of infectious and respiratory diseases. She noted that Cenra’s strong market presence would help expand the reach of Moderna’s vaccines.
